Reporting a question

Under every explanation there is a "Report a problem with this question" link. It opens an email with the question already filled in, so just say what you think is wrong. Every report is reviewed, and corrections ship in the next update.

Backing up and moving to a new phone

• On your old phone: Settings → Your Data → Back up progress. Save the file to iCloud Drive, Files, or AirDrop it to your new phone.
• On the new phone: install ICU Basics, then Settings → Your Data → Restore from backup and pick the file.
• The backup contains your answers, mock exam history, flags, notes, streak, settings and daily goal. Restoring replaces whatever is on the new phone.

Switching exams

Tap the exam name at the top of the Study tab, or use Settings → Exam. Progress is kept per question, so a question you answered in the CCRN bank stays answered when it appears in the PCCN bank.

Daily goal and exam date

Settings → Exam Date sets the countdown. The plan card on the Study tab shows today's goal; tap the goal name to change it between "finish the bank by exam day" and a set number of questions a day.

Home-screen widget

Long-press your home screen, tap the + button, search for ICU Basics, and add the Question of the Day widget. It updates at midnight and opens the question when tapped. It is also available on the lock screen.

Light and dark mode

Settings → Appearance. "System" follows your phone's setting.

Reset progress

Settings → Exam → Reset progress clears the answers, flags and mock history for the current exam only. Make a backup first if you might want it back.

Requesting a feature

Email us. Recent requests that shipped: a daily study plan, light mode, share cards, key-term definitions, and the PCCN exam. Next up is the CEN, then pediatric and neonatal CCRN.
